Records for the early years of the Off Topic Baseball Association were at one time carefully kept inside the OTBA Archives, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following the South Carolina Strom Thurmonds' World Championship win in October of 2017, riotous fans took to the streets and decided to recreate Sherman's March, this time laying waste to every town and city they came to while marching north. Sadly, the fine cities of Charlotte, North Carolina, Fredericksburg, Virginia and Philadelphia were lost to history over the ensuing month of chaos. As such, also lost was much of the pre-2017 history of the OTBA.
